How do I integrate my Square account with Paypa Plane?

In order to use Square for processing card payments within Paypa Plane, you will need to integrate your Square account with your Paypa Plane account.

Integrating Square:

Login to your Paypa Plane account at admin.paypaplane.com and in the top navigation bar, click "Account".

In the Account tab, you will now have a sub navigation bar where you will need to click the word "Integrations". This may not appear to change anything at first, however you should now see a little button in the bottom right hand corner "+NEW" to click.

Clicking "+NEW" will bring up your options to integrate with, in this instance, click the Square icon.

This will now take you out of the Paypa Plane environment momentarily, and prompt you to enter your Square login details, then, following that, please allow permission when prompted.


Once permissions have been allowed, you will be brought back into the Paypa Plane environment, with a form titled "Edit Square Integration". Please fill this form out accordingly;

Label: This field creates the descriptor attached to the payment module, and is what your Customers will see on their bank transactions. It will automatically be preset to your Merchant name within Paypa Plane - however, please be aware that the descriptor can only be 14 letters long. If it is longer, only the first 14 letters will be used, so please adjust this accordingly if needed.
Location:
Click the drop down menu to select your Square location, which will also pre-fill the next two fields when selected.
Country: Pre-filled by your location selection, please check it is correct.
Currency: Pre-filled by your location selection, please check it is correct.
Transaction Types: Click the drop down menu to select the transaction types you would like to allow on this payment module; Visa, Mastercard and AMEX are the standard for Square.

Once this form is complete and all the information is correct, click the SAVE button in the bottom right hand corner to complete.

You can check this has worked successfully by revisiting the "Integrations" page within "Accounts" and you will now see Square (with the Status "enabled") in the previously blank section.
